The Powell Police Department is committed to the pursuit of justice, peace, and order through the delivery of effective police services of the highest quality. We strive to accomplish this through a close working relationship with the citizens we serve.
Hours:
Our dispatchers work 4 – 10 hour shifts during the week.
Our afternoon shift is from 12 pm to 10 pm and the night shift is from 10 pm to 8 am.
Duties:
The Powell Police Department Communications Center is responsible for dispatching emergency services to the citizens of Powell. Our dispatchers answer 911 calls, dispatch Police, Fire and Ambulance services and assist citizens who call or visit the police department.
Applications are accepted on a continuous basis.
Testing dates will be scheduled as applications are received.
