block party street closure request Form

Requests for street closure in a residential area must meet the following conditions:

1. Neighborhood social activities only.
2. The street to be closed cannot be an arterial or collector route.
3. Only 1 block may be closed.
4. Emergency vehicle access must be maintained to that block during closure.
5. The maximum time of closure is four (4) hours.
6. The street must be re-opened by dark. 7. 75% of affected neighbors must sign and date the attached form giving consent to the closure.

If the request is granted, the following restrictions apply:

• The city will provide barricades, but the requesting party is responsible for proper placement and removal.
• No alcohol in the street or on the sidewalks.
• No amplified audio or music.
• No noise is to exceed 80 db.
• You must comply with all City Ordinances.
• You must clean up any litter or debris.

2. 75% of affected businesses must sign and date the attached form giving consent to the closure.

If the request is granted, the following restrictions apply:
